INdT is staffed with consulting team in wireless networks that is qualified in a unique fashion. The team has experience in research and consulting projects in multiple fronts – in partnership with Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks, in addition to jobs carried out in partnerships with universities in Brazil, United States and Europe, which gives them a broad background with several approach focuses.
In 2011, benefiting from the expertise developed since 2008 in projects involving the LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology, the Institute’s team, supporting Nokia Siemens Networks, worked on the planning for the one of the first 4G networks in Brazil. The bidding process for the frequencies is scheduled to June 2012.
The practices developed and consolidated along the project were compiled in the form of a qualification training program for Nokia Siemens Network’s consultants, who will work in several projects for new last generation networks, 4G, in the coming years, says Dax Reis, business developer.
